Whitcoulls Online use standard New Zealand Post to distribute to addresses within New Zealand. All titles on the Whitcoulls web site show the estimated dispatch time and the estimated time it will take for the title to be delivered to your address.

How long will it take you to receive your book?
The time taken for a title to reach to you once it has been dispatched depends on where it has been sent from. Please check both the dispatched and received in time given above an item's "Buy" button to determine the delivery time to you.

Delivery timeframes apply to metropolitan areas of New Zealand. Rural delivery may take longer. Delivery times are determined as follows:

• Received in 10-12 working days after dispatch:
  A title with this message is not yet in stock but is available for pre-order (i.e. to be ordered in advance of the publication or release date) and will be dispatched on or shortly after the release date, and delivered according to the delivery time frames for the title.

   

• Received in 5-7 working days after dispatch:
  This title is being dispatched from the Whitcoulls Online DC and will be delivered directly to you. You should expect to receive it within 5 to 7 working days (from the working day following receipt of the dispatch email.)

   

• Instant download:
  This is an ebook and will be added to your 'My eLibrary' ready to download to your preferred eReading device. If it is a free book it will be added when you click 'add to my Library'. If it is one you have purchased it will be added when you have completed the transaction. You must be logged in to see your library of eBooks.

   

• Released on 'x' date or 'Generally ships in 3-5 weeks'
  A title with this message is either yet to be released or is on backorder which means that it is temporarily out of stock (ie reprinting). Titles with these messages are available for purchase and will be received on or shortly after the new availability dates, subject to the delivery time frames. If no expected date is listed, backorder titles will have 'generally ship in 3-5 weeks' as their availability date./

   

OTHER DELIVERY INFORMATION
Payment is taken in full when your order is placed. Please ensure the delivery address and receiver's name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we are unable to change any details once the order has been placed.

Our databases are regularly updated based on current availability information supplied by publishers and book distributors. Books can and do sometimes become temporarily unavailable whilst reprinting, or they may go out of print without prior notice from the publisher.

Whitcoulls Online will endeavour to supply all orders placed via this site. All books and other products are listed for sale in good faith, but it is possible a supplier may notify us that a title is currently unavailable or no longer available. Upon receipt of this information from a supplier our online customer service team will contact you to let you know of the cancellation or delay of your order.
