Hona Black Collection

Hona Black-(T+hoe, Te Wh-nau a Apanui, Ng-ti T+wharetoa) has lectured on teaching for M-ori medium schools at Massey University, Palmerston North.-In May 2026 he was appointed the first Professor of te reo M-ori at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington.-Ng- Hapa Reo-was his third book about te reo M-ori; his first,-He Iti te Kupu: M-ori Metaphors and Similes,-is also now available in a M-ori-only edition. Hona lives in Porirua with his partner and their son.- Te Aorangi Murphy-Fell-(Ng-ti Kahungunu, Ng-i Tahu, Ng-ti Apa) is a M-ori language and education consultant for Haemata Limited. He has a keen interest in governance and holds several directorships. Te Aorangi lives in Whakat-ne with his family.
