Kat Quin is a best-selling and award-winning author, illustrator and designer from the Waikato. Kat first worked with P-nia Papa at the age of eighteen, when she was entrusted with the illustration of M-ori language resources for Te Ara Reo M-ori, developed by Takat+ Associates Ltd. Almost twenty years later, they still work closely together on various educational projects. P-nia Papa is an acclaimed M-ori language consultant and advocate who has spent the past three decades devoted to the teaching and learning of te reo M-ori.
