Madi Williams Collection

Dr Madi Williams (Ng-ti Kuia, Ng-ti K+ata, Ng-ti Apa ki te R- T+, Rangit-ne o Wairau) is a senior lecturer at Aotahi G School of M-ori and Indigenous Studies at the University of Canterbury, Te Whare W-nanga o Waitaha. She completed her doctorate on Ng-ti Kuia in 2021 at the University of Canterbury and is the author of Polynesia, 900G1600: An Overview of the History of Aotearoa, R-kohu, and Rapa Nui (Canterbury University Press, 2021). She is currently working on a book on taniwha with Dr Kirsty Dunn.
