Thanks to her remarkable visual eclectism and playful concepts, many of Vasanti Unka's titles have found their way into readers' hearts (I am the Universe; Who Stole the Rainbow?). She won Best Picture Book and Margaret Mahy Book of the Year at the 2014 New Zealand Post Book Awards with The Boring Book.
